I'll be making a gold drip cake and was wondering what medium would work best. Ganache, candy melts or royal icing.  Appreciate all answers

I would use white chocolate ganache and then paint it gold when it dries.

If you have the budget for that new blonde chocolate, I bet that would be really pretty touched up with edible gold paint and some touches of edible gold foil.
