Hi

I'm currently researching setting up a home business in the UK making vegan brownies/traybakes/cookies to sell at fairs, markets and also wholesale to cafes as well as private orders. The main problem I can forsee at the moment, aside from the nightmare of coming up with a name(!), is a lack of storage for products once they have been made and before selling which I anticipate being overnight. Does anyone have any experience of running a business out of a small kitchen and could share any ideas for solutions please? I have contacted my local environmental health for advice but not sure how long this will take so thought I'd just ask! My thought at the moment is to put shelves at the back of my living room and store the brownies in sealed containers. My living room has easy to clean wooden floors and white painted walls and I have no pets/children. I am also a minimalist so zero clutter in the area which makes it easy to clean and maintain and they wouldn't be near a radiator. As the products are vegan they won't contain any high risk ingredients such as eggs/dairy but  even so this doesn't seem like the best solution! I'd really welcome some advice from someone with more experience.

Thanks in advance!

Sarah
