hi al! My old Silhouette went kaput, so i'm about to purchase the new Cameo 3 with the AutoBlade.  Since the new blade auto adjusts to the medium thickness,  wondering if i would still need to purchase Linda McClure's kit? (i had it with my old one and with the cross-country move, have no clue where the blade or the instructions are)?  Can anyone comment?

thanks!

No idea, sorry!  I have a Cricut Cake, but it is the only machine of it's type that I've ever used and I only use it for cutting out letters and numbers.

THanks, Sandra!

I think  i figured it all out.   The new Cameo has the auto blade and doesn't need a separate cake blade.  I found plenty of tutorials on youtube, specifying all parameters i would need to put in for icing sheets.  ordered the Cameo 3 and cannot wait to play with it.
