I was asked by a friend how much I would charge her for a 9" round ice cream cake and I told her $45 and she wanted it that same day she seemed surprised by the price and made me think I was charging to much. I'm new with all this pricing so was this price to much?

What are your costs involved in making it? Do you have a wage built in to your pricing? I can't say one way or the other whether your cost was too high or too low, I've never done an ice cream cake, but hopefully someone can offer more insight.
