Hi guys, need some advice please. I’m attempting a mirror glaze cake for my daughters 18th but have a couple of queries. 

1, Can I use a normal sponge with SMBC? Will the SMBC be ok frozen? 

2, does it have to be completely frozen before I pour the glaze and if so, will I be able to make it Saturday, freeze and glaze Wednesday?
