I recently posted asking how to get floral that looks as pictured. so i ended up making my own floral vine. It will wrap around the cake tiers and top of the cake. How do I make it stay on the cake?? I have seen a youtube video where she uses coffee stirring straws and bends them and torches them at the bend so they stay bent, then use them to sort of pin the floral vine down into the cake. Anyone had experience with this? Or any other recommendations to pin it down into the cake? Here is a picture of what I was trying to achieve. How To Pin Down A Silk Floral Vine To A Cake

I bend long pieces of florist wire in half and use that to pin stuff to cakes...

Could you use melted chocolate, in the same color as the icing, and stick it to the cake?
