How do you make isomalt with smooth surface on both side?  I have tried pouring on a silicone mat and it is ends up with a cloudy surface on bake rather than being smooth and clear.  Thanks for any suggestions!

pour it onto foil or a different kind of plastic not silicone -- can't remember the name of the plastic -- if you torch the cloudy side does that help?

what are you making

actually, i can't remember if it comes off the foil clear on that side but the thing about not pouring onto silicome was important and i still can't remember the whole thing --
