Has Anyone Had Success Cutting Wafer Paper With A Die-Cut Machine?

Has anyone had success cutting wafer paper with a die-cut machine?  I am wanting to make flowers and am curious how to adhere wafer paper to a plastic mat so it can be used in the die cut machine.  Thank you!

I have cut wafer paper with my Circut machine.  I tried a few things but what finally worked was putting a light coat of shortening on the non-adhesive plastic mat.  I put the rough side of the wafer paper down on the shortening-coated mat.
