My wife is the decorator, I am just the problem solver. She has had a Master Airbrush G23-22 for maybe 10 years. She dropped the gun on the ground and bent the needle. We figured it would be a good time to upgrade. I bought the Paasch Talon (.38mm spray head) as it seemed to be highly recommended. I bought a fitting adapter to keep using the compressor from the Master Airbrush kit. However, every time she uses it (twice now), it clogs while using it. The first time it was with a shimmer and the second was a plain red.  Both are made for airbrush. It seems like the issues could be:

1. Compressor has bad seals and therefor not making enough pressure

2. Paint is still too thick

3. Paint has clumps. They are only a couple of years old.

4. Spray head is too small. Looks like it is a size 2.

Any help would be appreciated.

i'm just acknowledging your issue -- i don't know any of those answers --

i do have/use an airbrush -- and thankfully i just clean it out and it keeps going -- idk -- if both paints were made for air brush you shouldn't be having those problems so maybe it is mechanical -- and that's the point at which i call my husband too :)

we used air brushes aka sprayers for commercial work hour by hour by hour and they just sprayed and sprayed and sprayed and sprayed -- so ?

so i hope you get this resolved -- good on you for helping out your favorite decorator blush
