Wondering if you can roll sugar cookie dough into a ball and bake it. I am trying to make a sugar cookie like a cake pop but not sure how to do it. Please help
Have you tried on youtube already?
no that wont work, it will just flatten out like a cookie. You could try baking sugar cookies, then crumbling up and adding icing like you would do with cake balls.
I can't recall what they are called but there is a kind of biscuit that you bake in a half circle, scrape out the centre for a filling, add two halves together and then dye to look like a peach.
If you can find those biscuits you would be able to use that recipe and leave them undyed to make a filled (you will need to ice a hole in the centre to stick them together to make the circle) round ball that you can then cover in chocolate etc after they have set.
you can bake cookie dough on a sphere -- like on an upside down cupcake pan -- you do need to be ready to trim while hot -- but that works -- and if you get a true sphere shape pan to bake on -- even better -- for trimming use a round cookie cutter -- works great -- then as has been said combine the two sphere halves to make a whole --
plus cookies like mexican wedding cake cookies will bake up orb-ishly -- orb-like
yes and who's the super awesome cookie lady who has the you tube videos -- she has a great method for orb cookies -- super inspiring cookie mogul --
