So...I am in the beginning stages of drafting a business plan to open a cupcake shop. I know cupcakes are no longer the "it" thing so I've been thinking of ways to stand out from other dessert products. What does everyone think a about low calorie cupcake shop with vegan/gluten free/sugar free options? I always watch what I eat and I would be all over a shop like this buying cupcakes every day! lol. Thoughts? TIA! (Don't steal my Idea! lol)

i like it -- however i think i would showcase it in addition to products that are widely accepted -- you say cupcakes are not "it" anymore and truly said -- so why base a business on something you know is on it's way out --

i am picturing a retail place -- maybe you mean a home based operation -- so if the former my first paragraph stands -- if the latter -- oh for sure try it and see where you can get -- maybe we'll see you on shark tank like halo top ice cream which is now alll over the place -- have you tried the salted caramel???!!!

in fact i would be your best customer blush

*just for clarity across the globe -- shark tank is a tv show where entrepreneurs pitch their products to people aka sharks who may or may not invest in them

and halo top ice cream was on there, on shark tank -- have you tried it, rdjr? it is now made with some sugar and stevia -- it also has protein which of course helps balance those empty calories -- and i never met an empty calorie i didn't love --

i think it had a bit different name back then and at the time they appeared on shark tank -- the ice cream was made with only stevia and nobody liked it and i don't think any sharks invested in them -- but wow this ice cream is all over now -- a pint of vanilla bean is 240 calories and chocolate has 280 and the protein means you're not jonesing to eat the whole carton but if you do it's not so bad right?

so be sure to add the protein to balance your products --

BEST to you
