I have a cute story to share. I only seem to make cakes for friends and they never tell me what they want. They always say do whatever so I have to come up with cake designs on my own. Well I made a cake this weekend for a girl that loves Dora and I found out her favorite episode is Princess Dora. I know nothing about Dora so I searched the internet and stumbled on the Dora castle at Walmart's website. I had never done a castle before and wanted to give it a try so that is what I decided on. I never told them what I was doing and they never asked. Today I find out that the little girl got the castle that I was replicating for her birthday. I was told that the mom saw it and she was so suprised and happy. I wish they had taken a picture of the two together. How lucky was that?

Just wanted to say that you did a WONDERFUL job on the cake!!
It's adorable!!
My DH brought me home an envelope with a letter. I opened it and the little girl I made the cake for wrote and drew me a thank you letter. She drew a face for the address on the envelope and drew a stamp. They said she put it in the mailbox.
Isn't that so cute. If they hadn't taken it out of the mailbox, I wonder what the mail person would have done.
You did a great job I love all of your cakes! That is too cute about her letter to you too!
My dad was a letter carrier for 10 years and a postmaster for 14, during that time he answered ALOT of letters to Santa.
