Hi, I wondering if someone knows the answer to this. Is an 18 inch single layer round cake equivalent to an 11 x 15, double side by side, in slices???

18" round is equal to 254 square inches (one layer)
11x15= 165 square inches X two layers= 330 square inches

The 11x15 is about one fourth more cake (25%)
