I just wanted to thank everyone that helped me with my friends cake. I used the sps system and custom sized cake drums and styro foam dummies that I ordered from Taylor foam. I don't want to make another tulip or babies breath flower for a long time.

Yes it's smoothed buttercream. Thank you everyone I can always get excellent advice when I have a question from you wonderful cake decorators.

I started with 4" cake dummies to arrange the flowers but my friend said there were to many flowers and I didn't really want to have to make more so I found Taylor foam online and they custom made 2 1/2 inch cake dummies and boards for me. The products were inexpensive it was the shipping that was pricey but the agreement was I would make her cake if she paid for the supplies and my time would be considered her wedding gift. I don't know how all you ladies and gents can do this everyday it's exhausting and stressful. My friends know that I don't really enjoy making cakes anymore but I have a hard time saying no. I had planned on attaching a sugarveil lace to the top and bottom tier but I couldn't get the product to not have bubbles. Luckily they told me to leave it off because they were torn on adding the lace anyways. One said you get lace or flowers not both so I guess it all worked out in the end.
