@ZeKe221 the bunny cake idea is not my own but thanks for the compliment. The idea came from a cake done by Sharon Zambito (sugaredproductions.com).
@Marian64 the duck would be really cute done with blossoms! Have you used that pan before? Just curious as this was my first time using the bunny pan and I figure the duck one should be very similar. I ask because I baked the cake for the suggested 45 min baking time and it tested done when I inserted my tester in the little hole. When I removed it from the pan it looked like it had baked well but when I cut it there was an air pocket almost an inch in diameter in the center of the cake and the edge of that hole wasn't quite fully baked. It wasn't a big deal as I had served everyone before I found the issue but I am curious as to if this has happened to anyone else with these pans and what I might do differently another time to avoid it.
Fantastic cakes everyone!!! I'm just in the middle of a Pokemon cake, this is what I've done so far, there's still the bottom tier and little add ons to go!!
