Would too much gumtex make my mmf crumbly?? I've made it before and had no problems....this time, I made it, let it rest, used crisco, yet this time it came out crumbly. icon_cry.gif

Is there any way to fix it???

Yes, gum-tex is a drying agent that binds with water and sort of holds it in suspension.

I honestly don't think you can fix it once it's part of the mix. You might get something workable by adding a lot more of all of your ingredients (like adding another full fresh batch to the messed up one), but I can't promise that it would be as good as just a fresh batch all together.

Sorry,
Rae
