This may come off as dumb sounding, and I apologize if I do. I recently made marshmallow fondant for the first time. (I just got into baking lol) I am always looking for ways to tone down the sweetness because I love cakes but a lot of them are wayy too sweet after like 2 bites. I found that IMBC is not as sweet as American buttercream and instantly became my favorite!
So now I'm wondering if there's a way to make fondant less sweet. The marshmallow fondant made the cake a bit too sweet for me. Can you make fondant with cornstarch or part cornstarch and part icing sugar?
If not I guess I'll just learn to like the regular marshmallow fondant lol
