Can I freeze cake balls that have been coated in chocolate?
If you are referring to cake pops in the chocolate candy coating. . . DONT do it! They will CRACK! Trust me from Experience! Are you trying to make them days in advance or do you just want to store them in the Freezer?
I just want to make them a few days in advance. I am not using candy coating I am using bitter sweet chocolate melted with a small amount of wax.
Thank you, I decided not to freeze them . They are well coated just where I pulled the tooth pick out. They are me first attempted at pops/balls. I made car bomb cup cakes and I over filled a few and they were kind of messy, so I made cake pops from them. They are just for a family get together, a good time to experiment considering we have 20 inches of snow on the ground.
Yikes, what about the fridge? I made some for the first time and they are in the fridge. Will they crack?
