My daughter has asked for a pretty elaborate cake for her 10th birthday, so I know I need to get started a few weekends early. I can assemble the morning of her party. Question is, can I freeze the decorated cake tiers if they're covered in painted fondant? I'm not sure what will happen to the paint when the cake thaws.
