I'm making a wedding dress mannequin cake for my daughter's shower.  I recently discovered marshmallow buttercream and love it.  I just want to make sure it will work for the roses on the skirt of the cake.

American buttercream with a jar of marshmallow crème mixed in is a recipe that I saw years ago........kind of a faux Italian meringue buttercream.  It's quick and easy to make and pipes just like a normal buttercream, perhaps a touch softer.  Very tasty!!  I made these puppy cupcakes with that recipe.
