I just had to share this bit of news with my CC family! I have worked in a bakery previously and a few months ago left it (I know-stupid move) to go back to office work becuase my DH didn't like me working every Saturday. Well, the owner of another "cakery" in my town called me last week and offered me a job in her store. It's still not 100% that I'm going to take it, but I'm leaning more towards it. It's a small shop that has been here for 20 years or more and the owner is wonderful! She sells Wilton supplies and other cake stuff in addition to the cakes and I'm just so excited that she called me first when this opening came up. I told her that I would let her know by the end of the week. It just blows my mind that she would call me and offer it to me like she did. So wish me luck on making this decision!
That's awesome, I'm guessing she has seen some of your great work, so it is no wonder. Good luck I hope it all works out, cuz god knows it will be more fun! At least I think so! 
That's fantastic!!! Congratulations!!! If you have to work on Saturdays maybe you could make some arrangements.
Thank you all for your well wishes. The owner has seen some of my cakes. Shehas been my go to for many questions I have had over the last 5-6 years that I've been doing cakes. I feel honored that she would think of me for this position.
cookiecreations-I will have most Saturdays off if I decided to take the job, but I'm sure that my husband would be open to "arrangements"-aren't they all...lol!

Okay, I accepted the job today and my first day is Feb 14th! I'm really excited about this and feel great about the move. I've worked in a bakery before and loved it, but this feels so right! (if that makes any sense)
But I just wanted to update everyone! I can't wait to start and get back to doing cakes fulltime!
