I've been fighting off the start of a cold - by eating copious amounts of garlic.   It's been helping rather well,  but I know that garlic smell can be given off by people eating large amounts of it..  and I realized I will be kneading fondant this week for a cake I am making.   Annnnddd.... what are the odds that kneading the fondant, even if I wash my hands thoroughly, will transfer anything into the 'dough'..

This may sound silly - but .. I don't want to waste a batch of fondant (Or 3!)

I can't imagine using gloves - though that might be the option - what kind of gloves should I use, if that is the answer- and thank you! :)

TIA!!

but if you fridge the cake and you have garlicky leftovers in there -- yes that will transfer
