I have some fondant pieces I need to put on a cake today, but the party isn't till Sunday, (2 days away). The problem I may face is they are covered in dry gold luster dust. I usually just put my cakes in a box and place them in the fridge until delivery. I got to thinking if the fondant pieces sweat when coming to room temp the luster dust may run. What do you think?

If kept in the box while coming to room temp, the cake shouldn't sweat.
