If using the bundt pans for a pumpkin can you torte the cakes or will it distort the shape. I have an order for a pumpkin but they want it torted and filled. I am afraid it will lose its shape. Can anyone answer this. I also ordered the wilton 3D pan but it is awful small, would it lose if shape if torted. I hope someone can help this is driving me crazy.

You can torte the cake, but don't put a lot of filling in. Also, let the cake settle for a good 20 minutes after torting and filling so that it will take the shape it is going to take and go from there.

You could put the wilton pumpkin on top of a sheet cake that is filled if the bundt pans do not work.
