I got my first cookie order!! I am so excited. Does anyone have pictures of how you package your cookies for local delivery? I want it to look nice (not just delivered in a white cake box). Any suggestions?

Thank you as always.

Here's how I packaged mine for a local delivery. I just used the bottom of one of those white gift boxes for clothes and lined w/tissue and crinkle paper on the bottom.

That's perfect packing for local delivery tayesmama!! thumbs_up.gif That's exactly how I do mine for local when they want them in cello bags. Otherwise I arrange them on a platter with a clear dome cover.

Quick question on that beauuutiful heart cookie assortment - what icing did you use and how. Is pouring an icing and letting it drip down the sides for even results recommended? Or is the outlining then flooding method the way to go? Thanks!

I put mine in a clear bag like the above, tied with curly ribbon, and then in a cake box. The majority of my orders are for party favors.

I do the same as tayesmama ... except I save the flats you get from bottles of water or soda. I really scored when my friend saw the Coke man filling up the machine at school the other day ... she brought me home about 20 of them! I'm set for a little while.

You're too nice, thank you! I use rolled buttercream with royal icing details. When I use all royal, I usually outline and then flood. I like the cleaner look of it. Letting the icing drip down the sides doesn't seem to look as nice and it can be quite messy, IMO. thumbs_up.gif
