does anyone know how to make a whipped cream topping for a cake like you would get from Publix???? I'm not too much of a fan for all the sugar taste in buttercream.

Trishalyn - First of all WELCOME to CC, you'll love it here.

I personally do not know how to make the whipped frosting. I purchase mine and whip it as I need it. I used to buy it from Alberstons Bakery, I now buy it from a local cake supply store. Check at the bakery in Publix they might sell it to you.

If your area carries a product called Pastry Pride it would be similar, it is a non dairy product that whips up like cream.
