Does anyone order their packaging from an online vendor?

I have a local store to they were recently bought out and I am not like the customer or options anymore.

I am looking for boards, cake boxes and cupcake packaging.

Also any advice on where to purchase sprinkles/things like that is super helpful as well!

Thanks!

Here's a forum post about cake boxes: http://www.cakecentral.com/forum/t/829092/boxes-for-tiered-cakes  If you scroll down a little you'll see my comment. I use boxes that I buy in bulk online and they're really affordable! About $2 a box if I remember correctly for 12" x 12" boxes.

For cake boards, I use some from http://www.bakedeco.com. Here's another post about that: http://www.cakecentral.com/forum/t/833414/where-to-buy-wholesale-cake-boards

As far as cupcake packaging, I'm no expert, since I don't do many of them; but the best price I've found is buying cupcake boxes from Michael's or Hobby Lobby and using a coupon. They're sold at the Walmart in my town as well.

For sprinkles and other decorations, again I'd recommend Michael's or Hobby Lobby too - the coupons make their prices hard to beat. Also check Walmart/Target/other grocery stores as they often have sprinkles for good prices. You can buy sprinkles online, but if you're not buying in bulk, usually they're far more expensive per ounce than the prices you'll find at craft stores. It's easy to make your own sprinkle blends if you buy several different kinds of sprinkles for your color scheme and mix a small amount of each kind together. For the galaxy cake below I bought several different kinds of sugar crystals, jimmies, and "pearl" sprinkles and mixed them all together, about 1/2 oz of each.

Hope this helps! If not let me know :)

Sorry that picture is so large, I resized it to 50% in the comment box but clearly that didn't work...
