Can You Freeze A Cake Covered In Mmf And Modelling Chocolate?

Hi there,
I am making a cake and covering it if mmf. On top of the cake will be a figurine made out of RKT. I want to cover the rkt figurine with modelling chocolate made out of candy melts.
I want to to make this ahead of time and freeze the whole thing. My question is, how will the modelling chocolate and mmf hold up if frozen for a week and a half?
Thanks in advance,
Kate
Thank you. What about the base which will be cake covered in marshmallow fondant. Should I freeze that? I am making that tomorrow and the party is in 9 days? The filling in the cake will be jam...
Yes, you can freeze. When you take your take out, place on counter. Fondant will begin to sweat as it comes to room temperature. DO NOT TOUCH IT! You will leave marks. It will take several hours to thaw, and eventually, the fondant will dry out. I find placing the cake in a box lined with newspaper helos absorb moisture, and speeds up the thawing process.
Hope this helps..
