Help With Ideas, Please: "new Beginnings" Cake

I've had a request for a cake from a coworker of employees who have lost their jobs. she was thinking of a new beginnings theme. anyone have ideas??

How about a day break scene with the sun rising with wording that maybe says something like, "Tomorrow is a great day for new beginnings!"
Or maybe something with a closed door and an open window with a saying "When a door closes a window opens up."

wanted to thank you all for your ideas. Here's the end result. Heard they loved it.
great job... I hate that I didn't find this sooner so I could have suggested things to, like a butterfly and chrysalis.... that would have also been neat, but hey put it in your storage bin for future use
