Covering A Tree Stump Cake With Modeling Chocolate??

Is that a good idea for the bark? I feel like I could manipulate it better than marshmallow fondant. Or, could I mix modeling chocolate with MMF??

Hi mommyofnine!

Yes, you can mix modelling choc with fondant, no worries at all. I think either would be fine to use to get a bark sort of look.

You could maybe marble a slightly darker and lighter choc colour together before doing any bark effects to give more colour variations.
