I need color help! I have a bride who's colors are coral and grey. The coral is a deep, more watermelon color. The will be fondant and one of the tiers will be this color. I have looked at so many variations and combinations that my head hurts! I want to get this right the first time. PLEASE HELP! I use AmeriColor or the Hobby Lobby Gels (since our HL stopped carrying AC).

thanks in advance!

i read your post then it disappeared -- kind of an eeire and late halloween thing maybe? hahaha -- no but that happens sometimes --

but about your color thing of watermelon-y coral and the gray -- i might try a fuschia and some yellow and a dit dot of brown so soften it -- might have to add some blue depends on what's in the brown -- you just need to practice --

there are others who will pop up i hope and advise you on what's the closest thing to buy outright to get to your shade but i just mix until i get there because we didn't have an array of choices back in the day -- we didn't even have hot pink for example --

so i operate with a mostly standard kit of colors that i mix --

maybe if you have a terra cotta or a coral already and add some fuschia -- that would get you there

I used the terracotta color from Americolor a few weeks ago when my bride wanted coral and gold for her wedding cakes.  Worked out great with no tweaking.
