Hello everyone. It's my first time making this Halloween cake and I don't know how much should I charge for this cake. 1/4 sheet and 8" round . Only one has filling. Buttercream icing and a little fondant..thanks [postimage id="5496" thumb="900"]

I'm confused. YOU made that cake for someone and this someone has no idea how much he or he s going to pay for it??? Or is this a picture from the Internet and you gonna copy it?

Anyways...doesn't look like a lot of work. buttercream , some fondant cut outs...done. I'd charge base price per slice and maybe add 30 mins for the piping?

hi julia1812..thanks for your reply....i just made that cake..just dont know how much to charge coz theres fondant, i told my friend 90 for two tier but she said it was too much...should i give 80? or 75?

If you said $90, it's 90. It isn't based on what your friend wants to pay. There are many variables (and pricing threads) that go into pricing that no one can give you a dollar amount. However, if she has not paid you, never do any work on a cake until you have money in hand.

Yes I agree. It's a tricky situation as you made it for a friend so I guess no contract is involved? I'd agree with her on a price you both can live with and book it under "lesson learned".
