Hi!

I just moved to Toronto from New York. I used to bake and sell cakes back home in NY and wanted to continue that here in Toronto now. I just wanted to get an idea of how much cakes and cupcakes go around here. Do most bakers here go by slice or just start with a base price. I have notice that prices here for ingredients are slightly higher. Can my follow Canadian bakers help me out! :) Also, is there any wholesale store where I can buy my ingredients and baking supplies from?

We can't sell from home in Canada, you have to rent a commercial kitchen.

In Canada, guidelines vary by province. You need to find out if Ontario allows home-based food businesses.
