A client has asked for a strawberry 11x15 for valentine's day. I made a white cake recently where I used 2 box mixes and 2 extenders. She loved the texture of it. Can I use 2 box strawberry mixes with 2 extenders without altering the strawberry flavor? Has anyone tried this?

I only scratch bake, so I can't advise you about mixes - but I can tell you that the recipe for 'Strawberry cake from scratch' on this site is fabulous - everyone raves about it and I've never had one fail on me (touch wood!). It makes lots of batter too, about 8-9 cups!
