I have a request for a round tier wedding cake to serve 150. Not counting the top 6 inch tier, I either come up short with a 6,8,10.12 at 118 servings, or way too many adding a 14 inch at 196. I thought about doing a 6, 9, 12, and 14, which would yield 166 without the top tier. Would that look weird? She also wants sugar flowers, so I like the idea of the 3 inch difference to give me more room for flowers. Any suggestions? Thanks.

A 6" 8" 10" and 12" square serves 154 without the top :-)

Crap, every combo was dumb, like 6", 10" and 14" or something. What about a grooms cake to make a few servings and then you can choose sizes a little easier. Or something double barreled?
