Hello newbie here,

I am really interested in making a batch of the NSF cookies - but I don't have a kitchenaid mixer (yet!) Do you think its possible to make half the quantity of the dough with just a little hand held mixer? - only reading the various posts on NSF cookies most people seem to use the kitchenaid mixers.

Would just like to add that this site is way too addictive - come on here meaning to spend only 5 -10 mins and the whole mornings gone ! icon_biggrin.gif

Welcome to the site and yes it is totally addictive....so good luck.

I've made NFSC with no mixer at all and they were perfect.

I use the kitchenaid but if I didn't have it, I would probably follow the recipe as called, and add half of the flour at the end. Mix well then add the other half of the flour by hand.

Good luck with your first batch! You will be hooked icon_smile.gif
