The Dh opened his big mouth at work..and now I have an order for 80 Christmas Bells...decorated sugar cookies.
I have never frozen baked cookies...and I need to know if sugar cookies can be frozen successfully...if they taste good afterwards..don't dry out...yada yada yada.....I'm not anxious to have to knock out 80 cookies over one weekend... ![]()
Oh my yes...sugar cookies freeze the best!!! They only take about 30 minutes to unthaw!! I freeze mine all the time!!!
Really?? Good grief...have never done that...so leave them wrapped and let them thaw..in the fridge???
Yeah I just let them unthaw in a container on the counter and then decorate them!!! I do it that way all the time when I have a large order to bake and decorate!!
ya i do that wth mine all the time too
I was just searching for a topic on this, thanks for bringing it up. I myself just got a large order of cookies for a couple weeks away. However with work being busy and starting back to school, my weeks are quite hectic. Glad to know from past experience that I can freeze my cookies then decorate when the order is due.
Thanks again!
Leily
