How much should I charge for a fondant covered fireman's hat and hose grooms cake?

i'd charge $7-8 a serving and give a discount for being a public servant if the groom is a fireman -- fireman's hat is not a difficult sculpture

I love the idea of the discount K8, so thoughtful.

As to the price, there are so many variables (where you live, what cakes go for in that area, how much work it entails, ingredients, electricity for oven, time, paper towels etc etc etc). It's almost impossible to work out a price for someone else bc everyone's expenses are different. Maybe you can find out how much bakery's where you live charge and work on that premise?
