Looking for the mould at the bottom tier and cant find it anywhere, any thoughts?
Also im not sure what dusts to use to achieve the colour on the flowers any suggestions?
The bride has asked me to replicate this cake but id like to ask the original designers permission first, anyone know who did this gorgeous cake[postimage id="3735" thumb="900"]?
Thank you (im in the uk)
idk it looks like two rows of small and smaller pearls surrounding the little centerpiece that has a larger pearl in the center of it -- i'm not sure if pearl molds come that small but that's where i'd start because each one of those look different -- they don't look like they all came out of the same mold or the person making them made them a little shabby chic
Brooch mold, similar to this one: http://www.globalsugarart.com/brooch-mold-by-karen-davies-p-28718.html?gclid=Cj0KEQjw6Ya5BRDdyOewyo_Z_64BEiQA-fVKe6iDBGpuVP_iAL2Vsk8cXkdOV-hnRPXxyrbxcZSTngQaAruB8P8HAQ
and then the bottom is cut off.
Hey! Nothing posted? I'll try again.
You can make your own moulds. I've done it many times.
In fact it might be nice to use something of the bride's or bride's family - a brooch, earring, pendant, lace - to make it personal.
The silicone mould material is food grade. It's from Make Your Own Molds. http://www.makeyourownmolds.com/
I tried to post pictures - but that might be why it came up blank.
