Help!!! I am making my friend a 2 layer cake and cupcakes but she wants it a day early because she won't have anyone to pick it up. If it's placed in the fridge will the fondant accents melt? Also since it will be two tier it won't neceserally fit in a box so will the whipped topping get stiff. Or should I try to make my own box?

I didn't a cake this weekend pastry pride  with fondant decor. some did start to melt. I worked on it the nite before. I was not happy with it other say it was ok you couldn't tell I could. If I had to do it again I would not.
