Hey everyone,

I have been asked to make a #3 cake for 20-30 people. I have seen people use circle cakes to make a 3, or carve it our of a sheet cake. Which is the best way to get this desired serving size? [postimage id="3451" thumb="900"]

As pictured, I would use either a 2 layer 8" round, and 2 layer 8" square, or a 2 layer 9x13 (Either way, I would make the same amount of batter).  The cake appears to be about 2-1/2"-3" wide, so I would slice at 1" intervals giving you serving sizes a little greater than 1"x2"x4" yielding what appears to be about 26/28 servings.  Cute cake.... can't wait to see your version!
