Have molds ready. grease the edges lightly. Make sure your tables are level.
RECIPE:
3 pounds sugar
1 pound 8 ounces water
8 ounce glucose
Method:
Dissolve the sugar and water slowly and bring to a boil. Skim
add the glucose, skim again and wash down the sides of the pan
at 280 degrees F add your colors
Keep boiling to 380 degreess. Shock the sugar ( see other recipe for method) allow to sit for a while so bubbles will settle.
It's ready to pour when it moves like honey.
Pour the sugar into one area first and keep your arm moving.

You can use playdough for molds if you like. Just make a template out of cardboard place the cardboard over your rolled out playdough and trace your pattern using a hobby knife or anything that will cut playdough. Gotta warn you though your playdough will not be worth messing with after you do this, best to File 13 the stuff. You can also use the metal banding strapping like they use to hold boxes on pallets. But you have to solder this stuff and bend and shape it as well and a lot of times you cannot get the intrincate shapes that you need using banding material. Another option is pastillage. Yeah you guessed it pastillage use it the same way you would playdough only best to let pastillage harden before attempting to pour your hot sugar into it.
First of all, what "Other Recipie?" How do you shock sugar?
I found a picture of some sugar work someone did, and I am not sure how to do it. She tried to explian, but it is kindof confusing still. she says
"the spiky blue part is "exploding sugar". it's made with casting sugar (cast into a mould not pulled). i set up a metal bowl with a cool rack on top of it. i made a shape from tin foil and filled it with ice. when the sugar was ready, i poured it over top and waited for the ice to melt. if you have access to one, put it around a dehumidifier."
