I am trying to color gumpaste a pale pinkish-nudeish color.  I tried a small amount of pink with a tad of copper and it's too peachy.  What am I missing?  Has anyone tried making this color?

You could try Ivory with Peach and/or Pale Pink, Copper has too much red in it.

when i make pale colors i make a tiny amount of each color that i will mix -- for example color a small blob of gum paste in an ivory and then one in pink -- same for any medium, buttercream, fondant, etc. then take a teensy dit dot off each of those to combine and mix into your blob of paste or bowl of icing to get the pale colors -- it's hard to use full strength color to go pale -- there's no room for adjustment/improvement -- so start out with already diluted color and it will go a little better for you

Thank you both for the help. I will try it again using ivory and pink.

If you don't have Ivory- just use a pinch of Brown.  :)

When I mix up a 'flesh tone' color I use pink, peach and a touch of brown.

I have ivory.  The bridesmaids dresses are mismatched soft tones of nude to pale pink.  Surely whatever I come up with Will match one of them!

Also, where is the best place to get small petit four wrappers?  These flowers are going on 1" squares of cake.
