Firstly, I've never made a shaped cake; don't imagine it being a problem although I usually do regular tiers with many fondant figures on top. totally new to me.
I need a new vanilla frosting recipe. no eggs please. I usually use a crusting cream cheese recipe but haven't been happy with the texture for some reason . if I'm doing the bunny without covering in fondant but would like to pipe or "carve" some details. Should i do a white chocolate ganache? if so...would i whip it? Thought I would do gumpaste eyes and maybe a bow. Or maybe just a cream cheese frosting that is not crusting? (no shortening).
