How To Make A Court Shoe!

Hi everyone!
Could someone please advise on how to make a court shoe? I attempted it with the Lisa Mansour shoe kit, and firstly the heel mould was too stiff for me to unmould my heel. When somehow I managed to do that, and completed the shoe, it was falling apart.
The pieces in the kit are all separate - is there any thing I could use to make the back bit, and the sides in one piece?
Thanks guys!!
Carve it maybe? There are loads of tutorials on how to carve a shoe cake on You-tube.
did you put the heel mold in the freezer for 10 minutes?
Also if it was the first time using it using some shortening in the mold helps prepare it.......there is no shoe mold topper size that comes in 1 piece......all I can offer is practice practice practice :)

Yes I did freeze it for ten!
The thing is, the mould itself is pretty stiff. I would have preferred it a tad bit more flexable. It is doing the job, as I'm just getting used to it more and more. :-)
