Using A Receipt Scanner...

I have used the CakeBoss software for running my baking business for 5+ years and really like it (I have the old 2010 version - not updated with CLOUD).  I am considering buying a receipt scanner to help out with business receipts/expenses (I HATE paperwork!!!)  Does anyone out there use a receipt scanner for their baking business and mind giving me some input?  I was on the CakeBoss software website and even if I upgrade to the new cloud version it doesn't look like I can link a receipt scanner.  Can anyone answer if they CAN link so I don't have to do everything twice (doing it twice will NOT make less paperwork this way)?  If they can't be linked ... what kind of accounting program do you prefer with  your scanner - QuickBooks, Quicken, etc??  I'm just trying to figure out if it's worth it to buy a scanner and give up my CakeBoss software (ugh!) Is there a certain brand of scanner you can give me pro/cons on?  Any input would help me decide.  Thanks so much!
