Just recently moved my family and my baking business down south,  where everyone keeps asking me for key lime cake!  Never even heard of it (I'm ashamed to say) I've looked up recipes,  but they either call for a boxed cake (which I don't do)  or a lot of ingredients (I'm trying to keep cost low) .i have an absolutely perfect vanilla cake recipe,  can I somehow tweak that recipe to make it key lime?

Could you simply replace the liquid in your recipe with Key Lime juice?  Or does the acidity throw things off?

I also do a Key Lime filling which is basically a pie filling.
