Oh, also, if you're starting a new business you should definitely call your local paper to see if they're interested in doing a story about it. Most newspapers are always on the lookout for things like that.

My husband emailed the paper several weeks ago telling them about our business and the writer called me yesterday (it takes awhile for emails to filter through the system) for the phone interview and published it today!! So awesome to have the support of our community. The traffic to fb page and website has skyrocketed in the last 2 hours. I'm humbled by the attention our little business is getting and can't wait to grow and meet our new customers. I know a certain writer who will be enjoying some sugar cookies lol. He was like ohhhh buttercream so a big thanks is due!!
