Nothing says, "I live an exciting life." like soliciting recommendations for electric turkey roasters but here I am all the same.  I've been preparing the Thanksgiving meal for my family/extended family for a few years now and I am leaning toward buying an electric roaster so that I can free up my regular oven for all the other stuff.  I'd love to hear opinions from those of you that have one, have used one or have a brand you are partial too. I have an Aroma brand . It is pretty big.  The only bad thing about it is you cannot keep lifting  the lid.  It will decrease the temp drastically, therefore increase your cooking time .
