I have someone that has ordered a yellow Irish Cream cake for an engagement party, the problem is I can't find a recipe for this anywhere. All recipes are for chocolate irish cream cake. Even in the recipe section on CC I can't find it...
If you know of one, please send it my way.
Thanks.
You could just use your regular vanilla cake recipe and add some liquer to the batter, then do a soaking syrup to brush more on it.
I could add liquer. I've done that before, costumeczar would it just replace the vanilla?
Thanks pastrypet, that's the only answer that has come up, but not looking for a pound cake recipe.
I'd add more than the vanilla amount called for, plus do the wash if you want a really good flavor. But if the recipes @pastrypet posted aren't all pound cakes you should try one of those since they'll be built for the liqueur to be included and the balances will be right.
There is one recipe that isn't a pound cake from what I've seen. All the others are chocolate cake.
